People & Mission

People & Mission.

Project DART began as Rahil's MTP Project in 2024. We are a 9-member team from IIT-Kharagpur, running lean — each member owns a system slice. We are building a multimodal, controlled AI for human profiling.

Mission

Build the infrastructure for how the world will understand the human brain.

The problem with the current approach

Brain and mental health has always been approached consultatively — a clinician listens, interprets, and issues an opinion. The human brain does not have the bandwidth to coherently check every marker not spoken & validate every data-point produced by the brain. That is where science stops and patterns are matched on the best-assumed yet incomplete, mostly subjective data.

What we are building instead

The brain produces objective signals — electrical, vascular, mechanical. We are building the mathematics that reads those signals and produces scores, not summaries. A world where the condition of any human brain can be stated numerically, tracked longitudinally, and improved systematically.

Our Principles

The rules we will not bend. Not for speed, not for funding, not for convenience.

01

First-principles thinking.

We do not build on assumptions inherited from convention. Every architectural decision is traced back to the problem it solves, not the tool that is fashionable.

02

Deep thinking & research focus.

Speed without understanding produces noise. We take the time to understand the domain — neurology, law, clinical workflow — before we write the model.

03

Lead with math and the nature of physics.

Objective biomarkers do not lie. The brain produces measurable signals. Our job is to build the mathematics that reads them — without narrative, without opinion.

04

Patient, persistent, and perseverant.

We are in the long game. The brain is the most complex structure in the human body. Solving it will take decades. We are fine with that.

Careers

We deliver the infrastructure on how the world will measure the human brain.

The problems are hard and the work is long. But If you want to do something elemental. We want to hear from you. Dedicated new openings will come by July 15, 2026.

What we look for

01

First-principles thinkers who ask why before how.

02

People comfortable in domains they do not yet fully understand.

03

Those who find the long game more interesting than the short one.

Partner with DART

If you believe the brain deserves better than guesswork, we should talk.

We are open to conversations with investors who back long-horizon science, research institutions seeking a clinical AI partner, and hospitals or health systems looking to lead on neurological data infrastructure.

01

Investment

We are building decade-scale infrastructure. We are looking for investors who understand that and are not optimising for a 24-month exit.

02

Research Collaboration

Access to our model architecture, datasets, and clinical validation pipelines for joint publications or grant-funded research.

03

Clinical Partnership

Hospitals and diagnostic centres that want to be among the first to run DART in a live neurological workflow. Pilot slots are limited.
